Environmentally friendly energy for two communities: a success story

Supplying thermal energy to the two communities of Toblach/Dobbiaco and Innichen/San Candido, the district heating plant is a pioneer in South Tyrol for producing ecologically friendly energy. The ORC module was the first to be installed in South Tyrol, in 2003, and the visitors’ display opened in 2005 is unique to all of Europe.

The plant operators are dedicated to meeting, through innovative and efficient efforts, the growing demands of future energy markets.

EUR 4 million is the total amount saved by the residents of Dobbiaco and San Candido as compared with heating oil consumption.
