The flue gas is ducted into the electric filter for optimal dust separation. The electric filter builds up a high-voltage electric field. This field charges the dust particles with negative electricity. The dust particles are deposited on the collector plates. These plates are regularly cleaned by knocking the dust particles off. The ash is removed in a container.
